Jaritza Rodriguez
Contractor, Outreach & Veteran Engagement Specialist
Jaritza Rodriguez is a dedicated professional, entrepreneur, and community advocate who is passionate about helping individuals recognize their potential, access valuable resources, and turn their goals into meaningful opportunities. As part of the Entrepreneurs Academy team, Jaritza supports programs and initiatives designed to empower entrepreneurs, strengthen communities, and help individuals move toward greater personal and professional success.
An entrepreneur herself, Jaritza is the founder and owner of Saphire’s Toys Inc., a Chicago-based, woman-owned online wellness boutique created to promote education, confidence, self-care, and open conversations surrounding sexual wellness. Her entrepreneurial journey began with hosting in-home educational parties and grew into building her own brand and e-commerce business. Through that experience, she has gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges entrepreneurs face—from developing a business idea and building a brand to marketing, customer engagement, e-commerce, and navigating the resources needed to grow a business.
Jaritza brings a diverse professional background in administration, accounting, outreach, customer service, program support, and entrepreneurship. She has also continued investing in her professional development through certifications and training that strengthen her leadership, organizational, and business skills.
Her personal experience as a business owner allows her to connect with Entrepreneurs Academy participants from a unique perspective. She understands that entrepreneurship is about more than starting a business—it requires resilience, resourcefulness, continuous learning, and having the right support system. Jaritza enjoys helping others identify opportunities, overcome obstacles, and connect with resources that can move their ideas forward.
Driven by a genuine desire to see people succeed, Jaritza believes that knowledge and opportunity can create lasting change. Whether she is supporting an entrepreneur, coordinating a program, connecting someone to resources, or continuing to grow her own business, she approaches her work with compassion, determination, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
